In anime, it is safe to say that tales of samurai have been produced in abundance. This abundance is not a bad thing, however. The era of Japanese history where samurai were prominent is very interesting, exciting, and filled with great stories about the different journeys of many samurai – some legendary adventures and some forgotten tales great in their own right. Anime about samurai isn’t always about the action, as they also grant viewers a slight history lesson on Japanese history. Granted most of the story line is filled with fabricated events and characters, but they do offer a slight insight to what was occurring. Here’s a look at the Best Samurai Anime.
