What many fail to realize is while graphic designers may be mostly known for using graphic editors like Photoshop, they actually do draw.The drawing aspect of graphic design is a major part of the profession. Any type of vector art, or thing of that nature, all came from a designer using a drawing/vector illustration application to create it. Recently there has also been a boom in the use of vector artwork, mostly in the areas of web design and flash animation. In this article, I plan on listing the top software picks for vector illustration, also known as computer drawing. This is not to be confused with a list of CAD applications.
